Youth Research Task Force

Wondering... how we got started?

Kept The Momentum Going!!!

Remained Agile and Nimble...

Remember To... Always Have Fun!

The Youth Research Task Force is leveling up the Cultural Stewardship Report Card initiative, targeting marginalized youth across other disparity tracks. We're boosting operational strength for sustainability. Seeking support from partners to spread the transformative tool to more marginalized youth.

Our collaborative partnership with the CURA, established by the University of Minnesota Board of Regents in 1968 in response to the social and political upheaval of that time reflects our deep commitment to centering community most impacted by systems as we continue developing our rigorous youth driven - peer led research program. Despite challenges, our extensive research prioritized voices impacted by housing insecurity. While our initial goal was race-disaggregated data, participants highlighted race's role organically. Our commitment to refinement is important as we evolve methodologies for more research.

We're on a mission to collaborate with youth-directed services in Minnesota, expanding our research prototype. Acknowledging limitations, we commit to refining efforts for collective growth within the youth support landscape. Excitingly, new partners are joining us, amplifying research across education, detention, rehabilitation, and legal justice systems.
